Everything I Google and search about this code that I keep getting intermittently says that it has to do with the fuel pressure sensor but my scan tool says it’s for the front heated oxygen sensor. I have an O2 gauge on my car and I can confirm a lean condition when it sets this code. And I have already replaced the O2 sensor and that did not stop the code from coming back. Please help.

ECM-2100 means the Fuel Pressure Data is so far out of range it got to be wrong. Check the wiring and connector to the Fuel Pressure Sensor for shorts, opens and corrosion.
As for the lean code. That is probably the ECM miscalculating the fuel injection due to the false fuel pressure data.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ECM-2100 Fuel pressure sensor. Too high or too low.
Condition
The engine control module (ECM) checks the signal from the fuel pressure sensor. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-2100 is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from the fuel pressure sensor is too high or too low. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is diagnosed when the ignition is switched on or with the engine running.
For information about fuel pressure regulation, see VIDA Design and Function.
Substitute value
Diagnosis for fuel pressure regulation switched off.

Signal too high:
- 1. Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals
2. Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
3. Open-circuit in the signal cable
4. Open-circuit in the signal ground cable

- 1. Malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit
2. Deterioration in performance
3. The engine stops.

Thank you for the help. Guess I’ll be taking the plastic covers off to check things out. Probably the original sensor though, so hopefully I just need a new one.
Any idea why the scan tool said front heated oxygen sensor?

Also could this be a symptom of a failing PEM as I already have a spare. And a brand new aeromotive fuel pump that I still need to put in.

ECM-2100 has nothing to do with the front O2 sensor.

That’s what has me a little confused. But I’m going to replace the fuel pressure sensor as I believe I still have the original and my car has over 200xxx miles on it.

I am able to stream the fps and lambda on a graph with my tool. Can anyone kindly tell me the range the fuel pressure should fluctuate at? So far it’s around 399 kpa at idle.
