Antlia rims for 1989 Volvo 240

Post by sergitin32 »

Hi there, I found this ad in Kijiji with a couple of rims that after searching online from the picture it looks like Antlia rims from a "2000 C70 Volvo" said the seller. (front-wheel drive?) They are not his wheels so not a lot of info from his friend owner.
After doing some research I found several conflicting info. Some people claim they fit Volvo 240s but some more official websites with wheel specs etc claim otherwise:
https://volvo-wheels.com/product/volvo- ... m-9192518/
in this website the specs say:
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 108mm
Diameter & Width: 15″ x 6.5″
Offset: 43mm

I want to put these with the winter rubber he also has in the ad in my rear end.
Here is the question, I do have a 25mm wheel spacer from IPD in the back with my Virgos and I had to roll my fenders a little bit to avoid rubbing.
My reasoning is that if the Virgo is 20mm positive offset and the spacers are 25 mm then they should be in general like a 45 mm wheel. so these ones with 43 should be OK in there as long as the tires have a very similar profile, but then these rims are 1/2 inch wider than the Virgo...

In one question, does anyone knows for sure if these would fit, with or without the spacers in the back.
Thank you.

They will most certainly fit, but you would need to install the 25mm spacers on both axles.

I have a set of 16 x 6.5 Helium wheels with 205/55/16 on our 240 (Frieda) and it works just fine.
These were originally on 2000 S70 only.

I hope that helps.
