Re: Plug color

Actually, yes - a little additive for a long highway drive I took the other day. But less than recommended on the label. Just wanted a little octane boost for higher fuel demands etc for a sustained highway drive.

Re: Bump Stop Replacement ??

Arrgh ! As soon as you said Febi, I remembered that those were the ones that I ended up getting, not the Rein.
The collar must be reusable. Sorry I had the car parked on its side when I took the pic.

Re: Is Powder Coating alloy wheels safe?

I thought there was a thread on this subject before, and the worry was that the baking of the alloy wheels actually weakened them, making them brittle and more pron to cracking. Lovely thought when your cruising down the interstate.

Yellow acc. plug

I thought I'd post this for those wanting to tie into the yellow accessories plug up under the left side kick panel. For the male prongs, I cannibalized a couple of random plugs from under the hood of a parts car. Port # 2 on the plug will give you switched power, and port #8 will give you a ground....

Re: Help identifying genuine 850R

This has also been posted over on S.S. and apparently solved.
It's an R and he's going to buy it.
Good call, in my opinion. I love the color !

Re: What non automotive projects and repairs are you doing?

As long as it's not airborne your all good. It's the dry dust that gets into your lungs that causes problems.
I've been on jobs where we have had to remove asbestos laced construction materials, and the OSHA approved method was to wet everything down so dust was eliminated.

Re: Requiescet in pace Dianne Spinner

Words always fall short in these times, but the feelings behind them never do.
Best of thoughts to the family.
