Re: Non-Volvo car chat megathread
Took a trip south to Scottsdale for the Good Guys Classic car show with autotest and classic drag racers. Interesting show, but little in the way of Non-US cars, which is ok. A few Mini's, MGB's, a 73 Mercedes 450SE and a 1980's Rolls Royce. Last 2 were for sale. Only Far East car was a Z350/370 or ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
The Weather Man finally gave me something besides monsoon or arctic, so I washed the container holding all my spare cash from the last year or so.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I went to start up the T5 this morning and got a bunch of crank, no-start results. Then, it was start, sputter and stall.
Moved to Blue Steel, and the same thing happened but finally starting after the fifth try or so. It was about 27 degrees F.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Got the head apart to replace the valve seals and do the NA cam install on my '97 T5. Got to test out my prototype valve spring compressor tool (finally) https://turbochuckcom.ipage.com/webimages/projects/97%20Volvo%20854T5/2022/Winter%20Work%20Fun/prototool_2.jpg 3D printed it and installed some th...

Re: 850R complete engine rebuild + some questions
One more thing: whites or blues are good for 300 hp at least, but with a goal of 350 you might wann a think about greens. Lspeed in Germany has them for a reasonable price. When buying colored injectors, make sure to buy with the parts number (fcp or ipd list them nicely) because there are similarly...
