I bought my first Volvo. 98 S70 GLT with 132K.

Easiest way I know is check for bubbles in the coolant reservoir. With the car cold, carefully remove the coolant cap. Then start the car. Be careful your not too close as the coolant may shoot out if the head gasket is blown Milky color on the dipstick or oil filler cap.

Final follow up. It was the ECC control panel. Got one for $30 & everything is fine again. Thanks.

I upgrade my 2004 S60 console to a 2005. Much better design. Easy to do. I only paid $40 for the whole console & related trim pieces. Would of cost me about $100 just the the cup holder only to probably break again.

Thanks for the response. I actually got the car started & home yesterday. I had fuel to the injectors & spark at the plugs but no start. I went in to finally check the cam & crank sensor & the connectors were filled with green, fluffy corrosion. I cleaned it out & tested the sens...

Hello, I recall that when I unlocked my car with the key fob at night, the puddle lights on the mirrors would turn on to light up the ground. BTW, just as a follow up, the wafers are .045" x .300" x .350". Could not read the ohms as it was not within either of my meters range. Might help someone.
