Re: New XC90 Owner - Various Questions
+1 on Walmart for the battery as their warranty is decent and their stores are everywhere. On my kids 2005 I found it could take two sizes (H6 and H8 if I recall right) so went with the larger one. For trim I’d anticipate any standard polish should work. If needing completely re-done could be painte...

Re: XC 90 2007 AUTOMATIC
FYI that the P2 subframe bolts are single use and should be replaced with new. A good time to put in new OEM subframe bushing in that are reasonably priced. Verify the torque turn values, if I remember right on my S60 it was 88 ft-lb + 120 degrees.

Start at 2:30, Robert points right at them. They are right behind the timing belt gears on the cams.

Re: '02 V70 (Oil viscosity)
I’ve done it many times. You can do the math to determine the viscosity change. I’ve even topped with Delvac 1300 15w40 ($14/gal at Walmart) during the summer. Not probably the best if you want to run extended drain intervals but for my 5000 miles or less I’m not concerned. I’d be more concerned dil...

Re: Need advice with fixing AC compressor clutch air gap
I’ve not needed to secure the zip tie, just get it behind the spring and cut off excess. This has worked with me. Very tight access on my S60 and XC90, much easier on C70.
