Re: 1998 V70 NA - Ignition key replacement

I think it would be possible to file the valet key to allow it to be used as a master key

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

After cleaning up the back yard I pushed the 850 out of the garage, it's the first time since last October that it has moved. I never started the engine and won't be until the end of March when I take it for an MOT. Can't believe that it's over 26 years old not and still looks as good as the day it ...

850 sump splash guard

The 850 petrol engines never came with a sump splash guard although the diesel engines were all fitted with them. This got me thinking that having one installed might be a good way to help keep the engine bay cleaner and after a bit of searching I found the they were still available direct from Volv...

Boot (trunk) hatch cover stay

Why did Volvo not do this? Something that annoyed me with the 850 was the floor hatch cover in the boot (trunk) area. Why did Volvo not have some method of support to hold it in the open position! The 7 seat cars have a hook that clips onto the back of the rear seat although that wouldn’t work with ...
