Passenger's side airbag will not be active since the car is not originally equipped with it.
You can remove it completely and install the dash without it.

Re: 2000 V70 Starting and then Stalling 2 seconds after.
If it starts and keeps running when battery is jumped with jumper cables and they are still attached to battery terminals...that means that your alternator is not charging and can't keep the engine running. If you didn't mentioned jumper cables i would say that it's a classic immobiliser problem. Ar...

Re: Compatibility of ECC units
RickHaleParker would have answer to your question. Earlier versions from '93-'95 will not work properly in your '96(probably will not even work). The best way is to find ecc unit with same numbers like yours(part number). Same year and same part number. '97 would probably work fine which would have ...

Re: What is attached to my intake tube?
That's flame trap housing on n/a engine. Actually...flame trap is locking in there. It's a part if pcv n/a system('96-'97 850 and '97 -'98 s,v70) and that "valve" on what you're refering to which goes across the engine....part of it goes to the nipple at left side of the intake manifold. T...

Re: What is attached to my intake tube?
About flame trap plastic screen....remove it completely and throw it away. It's not needed and it was discontinued in s,v70 models. All it does is clogging up with gunk not allowing an engine to breathe and makes all additional problems. Cooling fan relay is on fan shroud....they rarely fail, but wire...

Re: What is attached to my intake tube?
If you're buying a relay, make sure that it's Volvo relay, aftermarket ones will not last more than 6 months...a year max. The best way is to find original used one from junkyard...but before you replace it....check wiring and connections on it. If it runs with maf disconnected and won't run with it.....

Re: 93 850 the dreaded warm start problems, cranks but no start
... For pre-1994 B5252S engines, the primary resistance is "not specified" and the secondary should be between 6000 and 7000 Ohms. How is that?! Ignition coils are ALL the same for ALL petrol 850 and s,v,c,xc70 (with cap & rotor)up to '99...and all have the same specs. In '99 with int...
