Thats too cheap. With 10-12 hours of labor in, even low-balled at $25, there is no way I would try to save $100 on parts.

There are few manuals sold here, and the clutches on these things last forever, I think data on aftermarket will be sparse

All 1996 850s with an air pump, which includes turbo (T5) and non-turbo models, are Motronic 4.4.

EDIT: as misha posted later in this thread, this is wrong. The 96 T5 was Motronic.

I think this will be a Misha type question.

YEs, fuel pressure is regulated there, but without a vacuum line. It is electronically regulated by feedback from the fuel pressure sensor. I dont think that will cause the symptoms reported here.

Update!
After replacing the spark plugs with volvo OEM and the ignition wires with Bougicord my problems are now gone!
No misfire at idle and a smooth acceleration.
