I finally got the axle out!! Hooray

The third picture above shows the new clip on the left, old clip on right, with the end of the shaft. It’s not entirely clear but the newer clip has a slightly smaller gap between the two ends.

Another update on leakage in a week or so.

Success 😊👍😊 Still a little hard to put into park, but was able to backup the car out of the driveway and move the green V70 out. Still need to have some welding done on the exhaust and find the cause of the hard steering on the green V70, then have the car inspected! I will look for that cable, wise...

Indeed, the wrong tie rod was installed (I was sent two passenger sides when I ordered these back in 2021). Makes sense to check the contents of the boxes when they arrive!
Have ordered two new tie rods!
