I did this on both my 855 @210k and my xc90 @90k. Funny enough the 855 transmission fluid was only mild discolored with 210k miles on original fluid. My xc90 @90k miles was like pumping out liquid charcoal. I buy the Aisin Warner fluid from FCP in cases of 12L.

I have rescued my grandad's pipe wrenches that my Dad inherited when he passed now my Dad has passed. I love these things. The harder you turn them they lock on tighter so all you effort is going into trying to turn them not gripping them. One is about 30" long and is a real beast!
