You can break the clips by pulling the trim away, install new clips and see how to maneuver the trim to install it back. Pay attention to the rubber piece on the trim, it is usually dried out and is extremely easy to crack.

Why can't you wait the week? Does the car have a problem? In 33 years of driving Volvo cars, I have yet to have a Volvo spark plug cause a misfire. Or even feel any difference when changed. June
