Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

Did the 330' km oil change last week and yesterday I ordered a stage 1 optimisation for the car. Been thinking about it since i got it. When I caught myself looking at BMW V8s longingly I realised it was time for some more oomph  252hp/410Nm. It'll be interesting. Now it's in and there's a cl...

Re: PCV System Repair on a Volvo 5-cylinder

Just had to say THANKS! For the tutorial. I'm a super self reliant single mom, I gotta be able to repair, replace, install any number of things from a washer & dryer to the pcv system on a volvo. Clear, direct tutorials (w/pix & a little humor!) Like yours help me do what I need to do when &...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today....now sticky!!

I'm a car guy. I love reading things like this about any make/model. At 17 I fell in love with Car & Driver. I went to the local library and practically memorized every issue going back five or ten years, every C&D issue the library could get. I know your problem. I memorized every car out ...

I like to mentioned this problem after a lot of research I could not find any thread on this particular problem. Removed and reseated BCM electronic connector - intermittant BCM-0070

SCored a total deal at Lowes - opened box Bosch 18V impact screwdriver for $50 - they had stuffed a tool bag, two 18V batteries and charger into the box, plus a set of bits. Tool like new!

Re: POLL: Why are you here?

Long story short- This site has been a life saver. I have so many stories about Volvo repairs that I have been able to diagnose & complete that never would have been possible without this site:) I’m 62 and never owned a full set of wrenches until 10 years ago.

Re: What ODB2 Scanner would you recommend for ABS related issues

I just spent some nights researching for a purchase. The Autel AL-519 series does not support ABS and SRS. The Autel AL619 does support ABS and SRS on a wide variety of European cars however according to the Amazon revues there will be substantial amount of updating via a mini SD card from updates o...

Re: 1998 V70 and Colorado Emissions / Keep or Sell Nordic Thunder?

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I ended up keeping the car and driving it out, which was definitely the right decision. Didn't end up towing with it because a the manual says the limit is 1100# for trailers without brakes, and Uhaul trailers smaller than the 6x12 don't have brakes and weigh 90...

Volvo '360c' Tease of 'future ride' on Facebook

Volvo goes full cryptic with short tease of '360c' Volvo says: looking waaay into the future with this one. Presumably a concept. They did hint fully self guided. Here's my guess... I see vertical fins. That's just enough to form an educated guess. I say flying car/drone . You know, the FAA, for ob...
