If you have access to a sniffer, or one of the parts places has a loaner, that can be instructional too...

As suggested, running it at low rpm and lightly loaded may get the lifters to pump up again; a question to ask is where did the oil go, and why didn't the low oil pressure light announce itself ?

Careful with Seafoam, the secret ingredient is odorless kerosene. It will thin out whatever oil is in the engine. Clean oil and time may be the best hope.
