While the intake is off peen several places around the cup plug with the vac nipple on it. Those have lots of history of popping out if you run boost up higher than stock.

Re: Well, this explains alot. Is this fixiable? Or did I just F*** myself??!!

Get the best, flattest JB weld repair and then use Permatex Ultra Gray RTV sealer part number 82194. It will be about impossible to get gasket compression to seal a paper gasket. Let the RTV cure 24 hours after you bolt it up. I wouldn't worry about that bolt. The rigid RTV sealers are used extensiv...

Re: 04 V70 2.5T MAF reads way high, no codes, stalls out

If you ruptured a hose anywhere between turbo outlet around back to throttle you'd have your symptoms. Intercoolers can split at core to end tank seam also so that needs to be checked. The turbo can pump air out of the leak as it is driven enough by exhaust the moment you start engine to force the a...

Re: No fluid to passenger side brakes

whenever a line is open on brake system and you don't want fluid to drain you stop this by depressing the brake pedal 1 inch or more. The piston seals are in front of the fill hole if the piston is pushed a short distance in bore and that stops the flow.

Re: Main Fuse Box - Mass of wires?

The connectors for front wheel speed sensors had resistance on some 850s and the fix was to solder and heat shrink. That is the repair shown. If you go find the wires on right and left headed to the wheel area you'll find the brown and black sets there.

Re: Please Help 2006, XC90 2.5T

There is a fuel pump relay soldered on the CEM circuit board. That car is not assured of having PEM as that is only for markets where evaporative emissions standards are strict. Look at the fuel injector supply manifold (fuel rail) and check if it has the grey and black fuel pressure/temp sensor ins...

Re: 96 ABS Wiring Master Connector

Yes, and it is a major pain in the rear to get the wires released. There is risk of damaging the terminals while trying to depress the tabs on the terminal that stop them from backing out. Sourcing a connector that is not brittle and won't break from handling when you are inserting wires is going to...

Re: 2013 C30 Fuel Filter Location

The fuel filter is part of the fuel pump module in tank. The primary fuel filtration is the mesh on bottom of the vessel the pumps sits in. The fuel filter after the pump catches finer particle size and will stop brush and commutator bits from the fuel pump electric motor. I have not seen a stopped ...

Re: P80 AWD prop shaft balancing

Yes for 97-98 (they had 855 AWD in Canada and other parts of the world) and maybe a portion of 1999 the longer bolts were the balance weights. The driveshafts were then balanced whole and the driveshaft flanges at viscous coupling and angle gear had improvements in radial runout and the flanges adde...
