Re: What non automotive projects and repairs are you doing?
My thoughts on building selection for restoration: 1. Reject if the foundation and walls are very bad - too much effort to repair. 2. Try to find with at least a fair roof to shed most water. 3. Determine what size you and your family want. Larger costs more in every way. 4. Decide how far you are w...

Re: Food : culinary specialties
I had to do some web searching to find Oklahoma food specialties. Some are: fried okra, chicken fried steak, pork BBQ, fried pies, and black eyed peas. Seems like fried anything is a favorite. Translations available on request.

Re: 850 Hydraulic clutch Issue
Did the slave cylinder pop loose from it's location again? Was the c-clip still in place? It's not really possible for the slave piston/pin to push itself that far out when things are properly retained. There is no pressure in that reservoir, so it shouldn't really matter where you attach it to the ...

Re: 850 Hydraulic clutch Issue
Yes, I understand how the circuit is supposed to work, and that diagram isn't it. How are you attaching 2 hoses to that slave cylinder? It's no different than any of the others, and it has a connection from the clutch master (at the pedal) and a bleeder nipple. That's it. Where are you connecting th...

Re: 850 Hydraulic clutch Issue
How about setting up a camera or phone to record the clutch action on video? Use tape to hold in proper position. Then you do not need a helper to observe.

Re: 854 2.5 20v for a v70 2.0t 20v trade
Well, as I have written in another post an 850 t5 is way out of budget if I could even find one, so t5r or r are out of the picture. And yes I also prefer the 850 front end over the v70 one, but from what I have read I would make a 850 front end swap. Also to clarify I have had my 850 for 2 years no...

Re: This V70_GLT a good buy?
Dont you have Plants to go look at? Did Prince say we are going to party like it's 1998?  But I thought that the '99 model year was a bit of a transition year and as such had more than its fair share of problems. Kind of what might be called a bastard year. Was under the impression that ...
