Old post resurrection warning...

On my 1999 the correct torque is

Water Pump To Block 17 Nm (13 ft lb)

If your bolts snapped, it was not the extra 2 ft lbs, the bolts were already dead.

The Sachs stunts are a good choice. I have yet had to install new springs.
