Re: Faint, single "pop" sound when taking off
Got underneath it tonight. Noticed that the passenger side inner axle boot is badly torn, grease everywhere. Also appears that the passenger side ball joint is a little worn...I can wiggle the wheel just a slight bit whereas the drivers side wheel is completely tight. . Glad there is progress and i...

Re: Studder/hesitation when accelerating...new MAF?
No on the MAF, especially a RA MAF. It will spit codes if it isn’t metering right
Pull a couple of plugs and look at the gap. If it’s over 030 they are worn out and you may have a funky misfiring plug at load. New set of Coppers, under $25

Re: Studder/hesitation when accelerating...new MAF?
I spray I little PB Blaster or likes down the side of the spark plug and let it sit over night. Then try to wind the plug out. Re: Hi Folks. What’s the consensus on reliability for a 2006 V70 2.5T?
It’s all in the “ how was it maintained” rather than the make/ model.
A 2006 v70 with regular synthetic oil changes is a great candidate for a 300k mile car

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T 250k, P0101 MAF
eBay has a bunch that look like Bosch but the numbers are printed, not embossed.
I'd go to dealer or ipd or Volvo parts. I'll add what I do if the maf cleaning doesn't fix my issue this weekend.

Bosch or Bremi brand is fine.
Check autohausaz, rmeuropean and FCPEuro.
Bosch is about $100.
