- Just replace the hoses etc.
- The oil trap can be cleaned and re-used. They last up to 300K.

If you are 150k plus it a perfect time to have your alternator rebuilt. While it’s out, the banjo bolt replacement is a lot easier.

DonnVa, I contacted IPD and they quoted me $269 per strut. Boy did I have it all wrong. $538 for the two front struts. Whew! For me it was worth it. Would a 2002 V70 be part of the fuel pump recall for cracked fuel pump assembly? When my fuel pump assembly cracked in 2016 on my production date 05/13/2003 S80 it was replaced free as part of a old recall never performed. The car reeked of fuel fumes suddenly one morning. Worth looking into?! June

Losing your brakes amd the throttle body are unrelated.
You can remove the throttle body and clean it with the correct cleaner ( not brake clean or carb clean) being careful not to get solvent into the holes of the plate pivot
Use a new gasket, no RTV or goop.

You don’t need to reprogram after removal, correct. The cleaning method should be wetting paper towels with throttle body cleaner, then wiping out the residue. Wear nitrile gloves to keep that solvent out of your brain
