I had 0 problems doing that. Sprayed them the night before with PBBlaster. I think a couple of the studs came out, but I just cleaned them up and reinstalled. Checked 1K later and no problems.

In one of his videos, Robert DIY says you should replace all coolant hoses every 15 years or 150,000 miles to prevent catastrophic over heating. That's good enough for me.

The TCV should mount near the airbox. The later style hangs off the engine side of the airbox near the air inlet pipe to the turbo.
