Re: P80 Volvo 3D Parts Library Build
Interior Door Handle Inserts My door handle insert are badly damaged from years of abuse. This is the first volvo part I ever designed and printed. It needs a little fine tuning but it fit my vehicle just fine. Some design changes I made was to do away with the odd metal clips that attach to the und...

Re: How do I re-glue the headliner in a wagon (back half fell down)
I replaced mine (wagon) back in 2015. As other members said, the first step is to remove all the plastic trim pieces with care and then drop the headlinear from the front to back. There are velcro tape in the "center" of the headlinear, around the B pillar section to hold the headlinear. I...

Re: vehicle wrap over old paint?anyone use?
You have a really clean paint base to do a wrap. Any lumps or bumps will be magnified by the wrap. Any rust will blister the wrap.

Re: clunking noise from brakes?
I honestly think that are production inaccuracies. After all those years all brake calipers are well used, and even refurbished ones use the old casting. That is, what I believe, the reason for thw clunking. 2 years later my front brakes still clunk but that has not been a safety issue so far. I sta...

Re: Motor block leaks from between 2 halves
Mine looked like it was leaking from there as well, and changing the lower oil return line seal seems to have fixed most of the leak. You can somewhat see how the oil was coming from the drain and then filling the joint before dropping any lower https://i57.servimg.com/u/f57/16/41/73/43/24541810.jpg

Re: Power steering line
You can do the return line by just tapping in before the leak and routing up to the reservoir.
That fitting in the rack can be horrible to Release, it’s soft alloy and rounds off.
Avoid messing with it if at all possible

Re: Motor block leaks from between 2 halves
There are five bolted on plates on the exhaust side of the engine , right side of engine technically, that Allow access to the squirters, which I’ve never seen serviced.

Re: Motor block leaks from between 2 halves
Maybe only an RN block thing?
Here they are , right above the turbo oil return line. Oooof, those bolts aren’t coming out soon...

Re: Hidden Rust or Faded Appearance? Pick the location.
That is the rub. I would add that often the warmer dryer states are also hard on rubber components to for dry rot and hard on interior leather, especially the lighter colors, I would say in my opinion, I would rather deal with faded paint over rust and rusty components. With rust you just never know...
