Re: No Sparks... No Idea what to do...
The real masters on this board...we have maybe four or five of them on this Board .....will play Car Soduku in about 60:seconds. The mastery is learning the diagnostic path, not the symptom path. “My car feels like it loses power at speed, so I changed my fuel filter since people told me it’s plugge...

ATF drain and fill in the works Clean the Idle Air control valve , that’s the small silver cylinder just to right ( car direction) of your battery. Check those hoses for leaks and splits. Re: P2/P80 Visual Audible Tactile Inspection of vacuum hoses VATHI
How to eliminate vacuum leaks
Get a piece of paper.
Draw out your vacuum diagram and size each and every vacuum hose in inside diameter and outside diameter and length.
Go to your FLAPS and buy hoses and clamps
Systematically remove and replace all your hoses on your car.
Repeat every 10 years.

Re: Timing belt replacement 2007 v70
Depending on your Vin, some Volvos are 15 year/150k mile TB replacements.
You should replace in the next year or so, no rush

Re: Timing belt replacement 2007 v70
Thanks to all for the advice above. I think I will ask my mechanic to inspect the belt. I previously broke timing belts in a Volvo 240 and a Mazda 929. The engine designs were such that no damage was done, so it was mainly a matter of getting a tow and losing use of car for awhile. Will a broken be...

Re: 2007 low mileage oil change interval
I wonder if I could ask another question, though not related. Retirement for me has lead to a sharp drop in my driving-now about 3000-4000 miles per year. So it takes 2.5 to 3 years to get to an oil change interval of 10000 miles. What should determine the frequency of oil changes-mileage or time? ...
