Re: 850 2.5L 20 V Rescue

I drove my V70 137,00 miles past the 105,000 mile timing belt interval. If the belt looks ok and there are no noises from the pulleys or water pump seepage, Drive it home and enjoy Chardonnay on the trip (I think that is your famous wine??) Promise Blue you will fix her when you get home. Be French ...

1999 CVVT O-ring sizes on Intake Cam 9440651

Measured on an 1999 Intake Cam

Outer Cap Oring 28mm x 1.5mm

Inner VVT hub Oring 50mm x 1.5mm

See screen shots for part numbers - it looks like I was measuring a part 9440651

On edit...I think these are the cam seals , not the CVVT Orings

Re: New to me 99' S70, base, 5-speed, 209k

Ah, that picture was back brakes - I got fooled on that. They looked nasty.

When you bringing the fleet up for AC week?

Re: Check My Thinking: 2004 s60 Engine Cooling Fan

These cars will swing between 85-105 C coolant temperature at the sensor in normal operation

Running on the road, it should be at the thermostat temp or 87-90C. Stopped in traffic it will go up to 105C , the fans will come on , and cool back to 87C

Re: [S60 2.0T 2006] Oil leak near turbo

I think those two pictures are on different sides of the engine.

The turbo oil could just be residual from the PCV clog, wipe it off the turbo and see if it comes back

The other side looks like cam seal leaking down from top, exhaust side.
