Re: Volvo wiring diagrams ...where to find.... (update DEC 2021)
Maybe I’m going against the DIY spirit but I signed up and bought the Wiring Diagrams and Technical Journals subscriptions from Volvo; https://www.volvotechinfo.com/ The wiring diagram was a few dollars and I downloaded a car-specific pdf for future use. Even if it wasn’t reasonably priced it still ...

Re: 2004 Volvo XC90 - Driver's Door Module Problem
I fixed it! I went to a local auto salvage yard and got the driver's side switch DDM module out of the same year 2003 Volvo XC90 and when I plugged it in, it works! Hallelujah! This window has been out for about a year. You can not buy this part OEM new, no one carried it online. I checked all onlin...

Re: Another is it fuel relay or something else post. Fuel pump hose?
AS this has gone on for a while, I would recheck the fuel pressure at the fuel rail, and check the leakdown in fuel pressure. Have you checked the ETC (Coolant temp sensor) for it's resistance and the plug at the back of the power steering pump for corroded or broken wires> ETC, even if working may ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Somewhere on the webs is a fully loaded 747 rejecting a takeoff at v1 and only using brakes to stop. To pass the FARS you aren’t allowed a brake fire for at least one minute , but all the tires lost their melt plugs and deflated slowly. We weren’t that close to V1 and had full reverse thrust of cou...

Re: How to know if my '01 and '02 V70s have mechanical or hydraulic lifters?
2000 was a running upgrade to that family of engines. Solid tappets and single point oil supply to a drilled passage for inside crankcase piston spray jets were the noted changes. The solid tappet does not use a shim but the whole tappet is changed for adjustment as the shaft that is on under side o...
