Check the fuse box for an empty breaker slot. I'm pretty sure they don't install the breaker if the power seat isn't there.

Re: VERY ODD braking issue 1997 850
The diagonal didn't happen to 850 models. S70, V70, C70 on that platform got it in 99. When ABS was introduced everything with ABS had 3 channel with fronts as two different channels (circuits) L and R on the rear port on master cyl and the front port to both rears with one brake line to rear that s...

Re: 1997 850 electronic brakeforce distribution
... When your car is up again follow the line to the rear and you'll find a T fitting where L and R brake lines diverge. I looked at parts catalog and I see a rubber line to the T on left delta link and then the right side brake line runs over and has a rubber hose section between the L and R delta...

Re: 06 S60 rear headrest won't flip down
Yeah, that's the same how-to that is linked in the first post. It's pretty useful once you have the headrest down, which I do now. Put the vacuum on it or blow some air but dont touch the sensor. Next try the calibration mentioned, is it done with th...

Re: 1999 Volvo S70 Power Steering Hose Leaking
I just wanted to follow-up on this. I was successful in replacing the leaking flex pipe with a 3/8" hard line. Using a normal pipe cutter and a rented flange and bending tool from at autozone, and lots of elbow grease, I got it done. For anyone attempting this fix, be advised the hard P/S line ...

Re: poor acceleration after cold start
The fuel pump relay can fail when cold to a "barely functional" state allowing engine to idle poorly. Press the gas and nothing happens. Once the relay warms up from use/engine heat, it begins to work properly again. Same thing can happen if relay gets too hot. When this begins to happen, ...

Re: S70, N/A, 5-Speed: Sporadic low speed wheel noise + sudden flash of ABS/TRACS light...
First, that's a really old battery. That might be somewhere to start. It could also possibly be a loose ground. When the weight of the car shifts forward it could possibly be pulling a wire somewhere. The symptoms you describe could possibly be related, or it might be a coincidence.

Re: Fuel Pump Location on 2003 V70 Wagon
The 2002 model has no PEM. That was a later inclusion.
