Re: One bottle of Toyota T-IV in a transmission with original fluid

one of the threads on the subject had a guy who said he called Mobil and spoke to one of their engineers. The engineer told him that Mobil bottles the Toyota fluid. I've ordered the 3309 by the case before, pumping out & pouring in 2 quarts at a time. That works fine. After reading that Toyota i...

Re: Long Cranking Time on 99 S70 GLT

The battery cables visually looked fine too, but I didn't have time to figure out how to test those with the multimeter. Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)

http://www.turbochuck.com/webimages/projects/97%20Volvo%20855/HG_Leak.jpg Tested the wife's '97 GLT for a HG leak. Had been noticing the cooling system holding pressure for even a couple days, and she'd been occasionally pushing a little coolant past the cap. It's a vert minor leak, so it's not dir...

Re: Stuck in Park

With the ignition ON, pump the brake pedal several times in quick succession (you should feel the solenoid clicking in the shift lever) and see if you can then move the shifter. The solenoid and locking pin are located on the front side of the shifter mechanism. You will probably have to remove the ...
