The parts cannon hadn't been invented yet so the poor guy had to throw them manually.

Re: Test aftermarket front seat covers with airbag deployment
I was cracking up just watching Robert throwing things at it. That alone was worth the time spent.

Re: Power steering fluid leaking out bellow
I noticed the rack on my '97 855 GLT started leaking about 10 years ago. The leak was about 25-50mL per week. I switched from regular ATF to "high mileage" ATF, currently using the inexpensive "SuperTech" brand from Walmart. That slowed the leakage down to less than 25 mL per mon...

Re: Rehabilitating the T5M
I just got a real holiday treat. The previous owner of the T5M called me! Shortly after buying the car, I found his address and wrote him a letter saying that his well-loved car was in good hands and will get fully restored. I invited him to contact me so I could learn more about the car and his tim...

Re: Head swap vs remanufacturing head on current car
Correct Clemens, all 98 were non-VVT (in the US market). Since those are both 98 NA engines (looking at OP's signature) I completely agree - rework the other head out of the car, then swap it in. Volvo brand only on the valve stem seals, e.g. https://parts.volvocarslisle.com/p/volvo__/Kit/42805630/2...
