Just wanted to circle back to this thread to (hopefully) wrap it up. I ordered the new pickup tube plus gaskets, o-rings, washers and the newer bolts for the pickup tube and was able to get the oil sump dropped and cleaned out and the parts swapped out. Rookie mistake. I'd mounted the TB 90 degrees from the proper mounting. Took it down, mounted properly, back in business. Let my stupidity help the next guy. Next time, maybe I'll take photos along the way to see how things were instead of relying on my memory.

There was the other end of the electrical connection nearby, so this fits. I’ve ordered a new one, I might have the old one bronzed.
