Re: Possible to replace LCA bushings while on car?
Detaching the CA from the ball joint is simple in many cases. I usually put the breaker bar on the but, rotate it a little bit to break free the ball joint cone, then hold with the T40 and use two locked wrenches to undo the nut - cleaning the exposed threads helps a lot not to force too much. Then ...

Re: What is the small hose on the thermostat housing on '05 XC70?

Re: ABS issues, bad ABS pump methinks...
I would try pulling the whole electronic module at the junkyard, the connector is a bit tricky, but worth a try. Perhaps if the year and the numbers match - also the STD vs DSTC. Don't have to disconnect the fluid lines, I think there's a video on youtube

Re: SOS - What would you do in my case/ on the fence?
As above. Once codes clear, see what's with the oil pressure message. Either the sensor, worn oil pump, or worse failed oil pan o-rings or clogged pick up mesh. With the actual kms, all but a sensor replacement would be a no go for me. If the oil pressure light doesn't return, I'd run it until it di...
