Re: New V70 II T5 owner - introduction and general advice
To watch fuel pressure while driving, I have run a fuel pressure line from the end of the fuel rail out the corner of the hood to view from the drivers seat. You can remove the internal check valve from the Schrader valve to get flow to the remote gauge.

Re: Crank Case Upper PCV Vent hose completely removed -- OK to drive without? || 07' XC-70
It may suck in air and dirt or it may blow out gases and oil. Definitely not emissions legal. But not likely to hurt much on the car for a while.

That was my thought - a spacer kit on the hood to clear the intake. It really ruins the looks.

The rear may have the same problems. Best, cheap plan is a good used caliper from the same model car. Be ...

Re: Brakes are soft with no stopping power + wheel jerks to the left when braking
I don't see that you have checked for codes with a scanner. If you do not have a scanner, go to one of the chain auto parts stores and have them scan. WRITE down ALL the codes then try to clear them. Clearing is needed to turn off the check engine light. If the codes stay cleared for 100 miles or so...

Re: No crank 2 days after 4" puddle
Try getting a wrench on the end of the crank and rock the crank a little. The starter might be jammed in the flywheel teeth. Maybe.
