Check voltage directly at the starter connections while cranking. This will tell if you have large voltage drop through power or ground cables to the starter. If large voltage drop, then test each cable for voltage drop under loaded conditions.

It is best to always use stranded wire for all automotive applications. Solid wire will work harden with vibrations and may break. I have purchased automotive blade type fuse holders with stranded wire ends. Some even have water seal caps over the fuse.

The bulb holder design is not what I would call robust. Bulb holders going back to 240 series were not robust.

Typical way to troubleshoot the mass airflow sensor is to unplug it and see if default flow settings will make engine start/run better.
