Re: Should I do an oil change?
We all have to top up periodically. Just add a half quart at a time until you see oil on the dipstick.

Re: Volvo XC90 - Why you love yours!
Added a new to me '05 2.5T to the fleet. 86,000 miles and 1 owner. This particular vehicle is in much better condition than all the others I have looked at. Things of concern, clean history but mismatch bumper paint color and right rear lower panel. Something happened to this vehicle that did not ge...

Re: 120K 3.2 R transmission fluid change?

And if you keep brake pedal pushed you need just pump that front until you get just fluid out of it again so air doesn't go back in line. No need all car airing (in my case didn't and didn't need add even flui...

Here are some videos from Robertdiy on changing the timing belt. In the second video he talks about compressing the tensioner for reinstallation.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Got the timing marks lined up. Cleaning and new belt tomorrow.042.jpg Any ideas for easy crank pulley removal with hand tools? Does the crank pulley need ro be removed? There is usually just enough space to squeeze the new belt in. Last time I just cut the old belt out. Not having to remove the cra...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I have had an intermittent misfire that did not generated a CEL code for several months. I assume you already visually inspected the wires and rotor for corrosion and so forth.
