Re: '98 V70 GLT Transmission problems...
I'm VERY happy to say that I have fixed my transmission! It turns out that the wires at the ECU box were not the problem. There is a square connector on the driver's side of the cooling fan that had a pin/wire not in all the way. I just messed around with it a little to put it back in, and it turns ...

Re: DIY: Serpentine Belt EZ-Tool (<$2) & Routing
Just changed my tensioner today, and this combo worked great. I used a 1/2" to 3/4" socket adapter and a 19mm open end wrench. The drive part of the adapter is long enough to go into the tensioner and leave just enough space for the wrench. I tried using the adapter on a 1/2" ratchet ...

This has been discussed previously in the forum and if you search the forum you will find it complete with...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today? (now Sticky!!)
Yeah, you live and you learn! I still scour the NYC craigslist ads to see if another one like that pops up. I'd love to give one another go with a real $250 turbo. But then again, I think I'd find the same pleasure from a T5 manual! Just prepare, things break on Saabs... Make sure you have some hig...

DIY: ECC Cabin Temperature Sensor 3524841 Removal/Replacement/Cleaning
There's probably a DIY floating around somewhere for this, but I had my camera handy and I figured it would be easy enough to write something up and hopefully help someone out who needs to clean or replace their ECC temp sensor. And another DIY writeup can only be a good thing, right? I've had a cod...
