Re: 2008 XC90 with door locks gremlins
Some say locking and unlocking the doors 3 times will reset something. Not sure about unplugging the battery, the car may get even more confused. Does it do the same with the spare fob? Maybe replacing the fob battery but I would fear that may confuse the car immobilizer. Maybe also try removing the...

Re: 08 3.2 AWD Cransk but no start (Video included)
Replaced the fuel pump on friday night, its running like brand new. The old pump still pumps, but not at any kind of operating pressure. I'm going to keep it and tinker with it a bit to see if I can locate the actual problem. Also, while tearing out the back seats I noticed that everything has been ...

For anyone in the future: In was able to reach under the ABS and turn a 1/4 ratchet with enough extension to clear the transmission shift cable to break the PS bolt. If your parti...

Re: 2008 XC90 with door locks gremlins
I would like to revive this thread. I have this exact behaviour on my 2008 XC90, just as described by poster, on both front doors. Only minor difference is that mine self locks mostly when I get down and shut the door after a drive. Only on one or two occasions has it occurred when getting in. I ass...

Re: Removing 2nd Row middle seat - Seat belt Problem
You sure you cannot move the left seat by normal means and right portion just right? That said look up fuel pump repair - the seats need to be removed for that operation. You will find write ups and videos. It may be possible to just attack the anchor bolt - I don't recall how the seat folds - three...

Re: Running rich (both banks) 3.2
Here is what I would do in your situation. 1. Check the pressure at the fuel rail. You can measure it independently with a pressure gauge (which is a bit challenging) or swap the sensor between two of your 3.2s. I own two 3.2s and I would swap the sensor or replace it. Why? if the sensor is measurin...
