Ps fluid isn’t that critical but ATF is correct for the 1999 model year.
I have Pentisin in mine now because I use that in the 2005 as well
Both ATP and Lucas have been reported as successful

Re: Trying to confirm part compatibility 70 series vs 850
Sorry I didn't see this thread previously: There is no question, all three of those parts (cam and crank sensors, that ABS in the pic) swap between your 98 V70 and your 96 850, no problem. They are exact matches. The ABS bulb must be out, you are correct. I would definitely swap in that ABS module, ...

Re: Trying to confirm part compatibility 70 series vs 850
Yes, ABS was standard equipment on every 1996 850.
You can also just look under the hood of your 850: is there a rectangular, silver ABS pump on the master cylinder with black plastic ABS control module? (Yes, there is!)

Re: Adding remote unlocking/locking...95 850 to 96 850?
That's not an antenna or any part of the fob receiver. It's just a status LED for the alarm and a solar sensor for the ECC. You should already have central locks and maybe even the dash mounted lock unlock switch. IIRC, you need to add the 5-pin fob receiver module that mounts above the passenger-si...

Re: Adding remote unlocking/locking...95 850 to 96 850?
Just need the module/receiver above the kick panel, and the fob. First thing to do is just try the programming steps with the key on/off, see if the car is already equipped. If not, grab the module.

Re: Is Beck Arnley blue coolant any good for 850?
Go to the shop and find out exactly what they put in, brand and model. If you cannot get that information, it is better to error on the side of caution. Replace it. Do not get hung up on the color of antifreeze. There is no color standards for antifreeze. They can use whatever color they want for an...

M56 manual transmission Swap: The Ultimate Parts List
Now that I've completed two manual swaps on P80s, I think it's time to make an up-to-date list of parts that you will need to do this swap. Keep in mind, this isn't a writeup on the swap itself... there are a few already that do a great job of showing the process (polskamafia mjl on here, for one!),...

Re: Yellow accessory connector wiring options
X-Overload is your switched output.
It's probably a good idea to use it to
energize a relay to pick up constant.
Probably also a good plan to fuse everything.
