I finally got my reflashed ECU back from the guy who reflashed and retuned it for the manual swap in my 96R. Also, the Japanifold and single mass flywheel arrived at the same time. Funtastic!
Now all that is left to order is the Quaife

Also, a worn beyond repair 15G can easily reduce the max. boost. Ask me how I know. You can usually tell by longitudinal movement of the blade and shaft with the fresh air pipe removed.

I don't think there are many "repair" parts available for the M56 transmissions, at least that's what I've seen mentioned. As it looks, the only parts available are the bearings (I have a list of them if someone needs them) and the seals. Syncro rings are not available, and nothing else. ...

I got a M56 for free (with a 850 attached to it), but that is not the normal market value, just like Goupil's 20 Euro. But you're right, there is alot to be found in the classifieds for dirt cheap.

My wife drove our 95 10V to the point where the oil light came on. It was low by almost 2 quarts. The rod knock vanished, and the motor runs to this date.
What's the point of this story: The oil light comes on 2 liters low, so I think your stalling issue has nothing to do with the oil.
