Vida has a calibration technique built in to the software for this problem. The module may be DDM (driver door module) or PDM (passenger door module) depending on whether LHD or RHD.

Others here may know of a manual technique for calibration, especially JRL or Jimmy57.

Check underneath the sunroof glass in the front, I'm thinking it may have been adhered to the bottom (inside) of the glass. Mine has a similar piece but not exactly the same.

Update: I used JB Weld to reattach the metal strip. Clamped it down in multiple places overnight and it seems to be attached very securely now. I reattached the glass using the new screws and washers and they are very securely tightened. My torque wrench doesn't even go down to 5 Nm, so I just tigh...
