Re: Traveler brand oil from Tractor Store.
What specifications does the oil claim to meet? Check your owners manual to see what's required got your car, as a first step. Deciding if you believe the spec would. Be step two, to frugality nirvana. Draining the oil out of car one and putting it into car 2 would be step three. There are 9 more st...

Hi Folks, Here's a report on how I repaired my dash. I acquired a 1999 s70 with 110K on it back in late 2016. This was my first Volvo and although the car was in generally good shape, the dash did rattle a bit. At that point I had no idea where that dash rattle would eventually lead. After two lout ...

Re: Rough growling noise when accelerating
You should be running synthetic in that turbo with 7500 mile oil changes, unless your car was made in the Month of June - which needs 3000 mile oil changes. (MVS humor)

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?
The later S60 (before the new model) were the better with several problems sorted. However there have been complains about expensive failures at the throttle body and ABS system. It looks like is rather uncommon but it may happen. Other than that, yes a new timing belt is due but this is not very ex...

June-ior will be fine in that S60. My junior is taking the 99 back to school next semester for the same reason, light use and already dinged up

Re: 2008 S60 2.5T are these good?
The oil problem is the PCV. But it should not be a concern before 50K miles and synth oil helps. The S80 had the best seats, unsurpassed and the best for tall guys as well. The rolling couch!

One owner S60 @ 10Y, garage kept, southern climate, dealer serviced, 30k miles, for something around or under $10k. Hell yeah.
