Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Installed one of the oil cooler coolant lines, as well as the front engine mount yesterday. Today, I buttoned up the top end and got set up for the timing belt installation. I have to epoxy a few breaks in the front cover first. 20210917_174426.jpg 20210917_174859.jpg 20210917_211333.jpg 20210917_21...

My opinion based on some incomplete knowledge of fasteners and bolt torquing, risk of incorrect (but close) torque on the lug bolt is less than risk of galling the threads or washer seat...

Re: Thoughts on Volvo mudflaps for an XC?

Mudflaps on my XC70. i think it came with the volvo rivets but i decided to use volvo self tapping screws with the metal clips because i can remove them easier. either way i recommend using washers.

Owen is a 2 ½ year old kid who absolutely loves The Mandalorian. He was born with Amyoplasia, which basically is a condi...

Re: Non-Volvo car chat megathread

Hello Bart, Cunifer is a great material for brake lines, I have used it for many years on different European cars. I buy it from a company called Fedhill. They also have all the fittings you could ever need. http://www.fedhillusa.com/ Years ago I bought a flaring tool from Eastwood. It's expensive, ...

Re: P2 Airbag Campaing OCtober 2021 Airbag Recall is coming

I a well aware of production tracking having spent my working life in production manufacturing where all components had to be traceable even down to individual parts. What I don't appreciate is that Volvo Canada has NO recall plans or proper answers. We have many US supplied vehicles that come over ...
