Re: Piercing speaker feedback when hanging up phone call. 2017 XC90 Inscription

I've had this happen intermittently to me in mine with the same specs as yours, it's not often, but when it happens it really hurts my ears.

Re: What non automotive projects and repairs are you doing?

That's a nice Minolta. I have one from the generation before that, about 1980. What I started with in 1986. Nice 50mm too you have there.

Do you shoot BW film? Process at home? If you don't, start. It's a riot.

Re: 2020 V60CC - 36K Tune up

Is this rim repairable, and then safe to drive? Something bad has happened to that wheel. The bead will hold air for now, but note the crack is traveling down from the lip into the bead. Re: A $100 '99 V70 GLT

In this case the head job is already half done, and the PO has done the nasty part!

You can use Permatex for the cam cover at 1/5 the price of the Volvo brand.

Pm me if you need any of the specialty tools for this job.

A nice deep rub of CONNOLY’s leather restorer has given it that nice Rolls Royce smell of luxury… Which Connelly's product do you use for the leather and where do you get it? I watched a video on it, apparently they used it to condition the seats in the Concorde regularly. Good stuff https://www.am...

850 Heater Core PSA: potential for catastrophic coolant loss

This may be documented elsewhere, but wanted to provide a warning of how quickly a leaky heater core can progress. Although the typical heater core leak may be a slow drip, it has the potential to be a source of massive coolant loss, as happened to me. My 1996 850 had a slow heater core leak (a few ...
