Correct. My turbo has one. A same year NA that's in the family doesn't and there's no sign it's ever been there

Your off-roading capabilities are much better without a sway bar. It's your call. It won't ride much stiffer, maybe a hint. Less body roll when cornering. I ordered a set a number of years ago. Removed the old ones which looked perfect and returned the new set as unneeded.

If they look fine keep what you have.

Were your dampers leaking oil?

Or are you doing this to improve the ride in the rear of the car?

I've replaced several rear & front coil springs (they rust & crack over time), but never had a rear damper that was leaking. To me, if it ain't leaking, I don't mess with it.

If it’s under an hour job I would re use those parts.
