Re: "P3 Fever"- Input requested
............................................................ 3) The 2014 3.2l was a non-turbo AWD. In the P2 days, no AWD was non-turbo. The 3.2l drinks >25% more fue l than my white engines. The accessories of the 3.2l are all packed together on the left side (I forget the 4-letter term Volvo uses...

Re: 2008 XC70: Oil Leak (decoupler seal?) and squishy hose
Additionally, a hose connected to a hard coolant pipe on the oil pan (#16 in the diagram here), PN 30774513 (or LR005564), is very squishy and thin and has clearly started to leak a little based on the residue on the connected hard pipe. Instead of getting this part in a Volvo Box I recommend that ...

Re: 4th water pump failures in the last 1.5 years.
How much do you want to know about how a brushless DC motor controller works? I am going to explain what I can but before you read all of that the most likely cause of the problem is not the water pump but something external For example - faulty wiring or intermittent power can cause the circuit to ...

Re: $10,000 S80 Challenge
I bought the Bilstein B4 struts.
Compressing the spring was a challenge but I figured it out.
Good luck and if you find something that works well and you are happy with post it here for others to read about.
Take care

Re: Running issue 2008 Volvo XC70 3.2 230K miles
The intake tube has a sound suppressor that can leak false air into the engine. You can disconnect the MAF and the engine will run on the MAP. And if the intake tube is the problem then the noise will be there but the engine will run fine instead of “NO POWER” Let us know if this makes a difference ...

Re: Running issue 2008 Volvo XC70 3.2 230K miles
The PCV should be silent. Credit to VOVA585 You will need to start with the PCV. The intake manifold has a variable runner length to give more power at high RPM and more torque at lower RPM. That’s what you see on the intake manifold. There are two flaps and the connectors look identical but they ar...

Re: 2015 XC70 T6 ;-)
I didn’t have door lock problems with the S80.
But I need you to be more specific.
Will the doors lock and unlock if you press the lock button inside of the car?
And will they unlock from the key fob but not lock?
Good luck
Paul
