No, can't be that. The sound can be created when the car is off. If I bump the steering wheel and or the corner of the dash, it rattles. I'll just keep the music cranked.

Have you checked your manual? My 02V70XC provides the torque information...don't have it with me though.

Does anyone know of a way to turn off the daytime running lights on the v70xc? I assume the instrument panel lights are on the entire time and I'm afraid I'm going to be replacing bulbs too frequently. The manual says take the car to the dealer if you don't want them on...is there another way? Thanks!

No, no clicking and everything else is really clean. I've e-mailed the problem to the dealer as the car is still under a 50/50 warrantee. I also checked the boot...no cracks/breaks that I can see.
