2012 XC90 Pre-purchase Tips/Advice
I am currently driving an ‘05 XC70 which I have really enjoyed driving but she has 160k miles and I am looking to upgrade. Looking at a ‘12 XC90 3.2L Sport with 89k miles. Any specific things to look/listen for on this model? These XC90’s have timing chains correct? Looking at the CarFax it seems to...

Re: P0340 and P0343 camshaft sensor and circuit relay codes
I am looking for confirmation that there is only 1 Cam Position Sensor on an ‘05 XC70?
I have replaced this and am still getting the P0343 code.
If so, am I correct in thinking that I may need to look for exposed wire?

Re: 05 S60 crank but no start
I'd hang onto the OE sensors if you still have them. "...sounds like I committed a mortal sin..." Don't feel bad. I bought a $350 throttle body that didn't solve my problem - reseating the ECU into the connector fixed it. I think that's what I'd try if I was you. Hit the link below. https...

Re: Crank but no start
Vehicle: 2005 XC70 Cross Country About 3-4 weeks ago I was able to get my XC70 to start up and run again. It had been sitting for several weeks and I was having the dreaded "crank/turnover but no start" issue. I'm not sure what I did to fix the issue but it fired up one evening and it's be...

Re: P0340 and P0343 camshaft sensor and circuit relay codes
I have an ‘05 XC70 and I am consistently getting a P0343 code. I have cleared it several times. I replaced the easy cam position sensor. Is there another? Is there a post on troubleshooting/replacing these?

Re: PCV replacement on 05 xc70
I replaced the gas cap as a first move and I think it took care of my “small evap leak!”
Now on to the “Cam Sensor Bank A”

Re: PCV replacement on 05 xc70
My upper PCV is deteriorated in half. Is there a complete kit that includes all replacement pieces/parts that would be ideal to replace while “down in there?”
Also, would this severed hose throw a P0442 code?

Also, could the attached image be showing a P0442 issue?

Re: Many thanks on resolution of P0442 code
New owner of an ‘05 XC70.
Having some initial issues. I can see my upper PCV hose is shot, i’ll need to replace. Would this cause a P0442 code?
