from a past experience with my 86 240 ... once for me it was the break booster hose that had a leak so whenever i tried to start it ...it would stall .. fixed the leak and everything was fine... also could be something to do with the distributor had to replace it on mine to get her running again ano...

First off when the knob for the fan speed it set to the off position the blower still goes very slow with this very annoying sound like a squealing...so im thinking theres a connection problem there since it doesnt turn off in the off position? secondly ill turn the knob to speed 1 and the noise wil...

might be the brake booster....

i replaced the spark plugs, wires, rotor and cap,,, as i was replacing the cap and rotor i must have disturbed the distributor wires which got caught and broke when i tried to start it which made it run rough so i replaced the distributor. ran a bit better but still rough! i was stumped at this poin...

no i dont have the wires or spark plugs anymore .

can it be that i didnt space the spark plugs ?

or it can be a vaccum hose that i dont see ...

im simply replaced the spark plugs + wires cap rotor and distributor ...then this problem arrose .... ill start the car now it will be a bit rough then i give a bit of gas and it gets rly rough more gas and it seems to go away but then has a knocking sound ? im out of ideas what it can be i didnt sp...

i replaced the distributor and the probem still persists !! so is it the MAF? its like almost a missfire or just a rough idle ! HELPP!!!

personally i would either part out your car or drive it until it dies ....then look around for something decent !
