No. Actually the message did dissapear for few months. It reappeared after cleaning the car interior - could be something moisture related.

I have changed the battery - looks like problem disappeared, but cant erase the error with VIDA. After erasing, it comes back. Accelerator pedal is also ignored when brake is pressed.

1. Clean the battery terminals.
2. Have the battery bench tested.
3. Count the number of cylinders in the engine.

I have installed Sacer TPS around 6 months ago in my Volvo S80 2.4 petrol. It was fine for whole time until few days ago. As I was driving, it looked like the wind pushed the car back, but as I tried to accelerate a bit, it wouldnt accelerate at all. I have stopped the car and the revs started ...

ECM-5200 and ECM-2110 fixed, ECM was not properly inserted into its slot.

My 2001 s80 started throwing ecm-5200 (ignition switch signal wire short circuit or open circuit) and ecm-2110 errors after timing belt replacement. Faults came up at the same time. Car is struggling to start but runs well after starting. Oxygen sensor 1 is reading 0.5v and wont flactuate. Oxygen ...

Forgot to add, the short fuel trim is constantly flactuating on idle (sometimes 10% positive, sometimes 5% negative), but is 0% on high rpms. The front oxygen sensor reads about ~1, but the rear is constantly jumping between 0.1 - 0.8 on idle.

So I have upgraded my TPS with Sacer, as car was pulsating on idle. Forgot to match the voltages during the new TPS install. Can't do ETM sweep test as the "software unrecognized" - software on my TPS is probably too old. Checked both potentiometers - difference is 0.2° between both of them. Car ...

After test driving, now it shows an error for rear fog bulb too even though it is working. If I try to lift all windows up - error for parking lights disappear, but stop lamp and rear fog lamp error still persists.

One more point. There are shunts on the REM. Like additional option, you can turn REM and check contacts to that shunts. Sometimes one from them can be burned.


Checked it - contacts seems ok. I have found something strange:

If I turn on high beams - stop lamp amperage flactuates between 3.4 A ...
