Yes sounds like a resonable installation plan. You don't have to wait any 20 minutes. But make sure when you turn the key to position 2 that you place your arm in front of the steering wheel (standing outside). If not under the very unlikely case if the airbag pops it might break your arm

The reason why I am asking is because I don't see any use except using Vdash or similar to change the CarConfig? Or is there another usage where you want to change the CEM flash memory...

Yeah I will for sure try digging into that. Btw, Have you tried dealing anything with the car configuration on your P2 CEM using your PIN?
