I need to locate connector B on P1 CEM. VIDA has signal descriptions, however B physically appears like 2 others. Looking for 32 pin connector that has diagnostic port CANs. Is it COCKPIT-2, FLOOR-2 or FRONT-2?

I also have a bunch of P1 CEM I am more than interested into getting hacked over the canbus, rather than solder manually.

Fun fact, here in this Volvo country it is cheaper to buy a whole CEM at the junkjard ...

Only tested 1 time on bench and it worked. CEM allows only 100 write cycles so i dont like to do endless tests.

Really like the progress of this thread. Would you mind share some hints on how to simply change the flash over CAN :D. From my understanding, an SBL is essential or is there any other way.

I can successfully edit EEPROM parameters such as IMMO over CAN, but that is just using the pre defined ...

Yeah that's what I thought... Any hints where/how to start writing one would be really helpful, not only for me I guess :wink: Atm my assembly knowledge is lacking a bit.

Renesas has evaluation version for embedded workshop with M32C support. You can write SBL in C, I guess. Didn't try myself ...

Yes sounds like a resonable installation plan. You don't have to wait any 20 minutes. But make sure when you turn the key to position 2 that you place your arm in front of the steering wheel (standing outside). If not under the very unlikely case if the airbag pops it might break your arm

A while since I posted in this thread, but I have been following along. What are folks planning to use the pin for?

Yeah I will for sure try digging into that. Btw, Have you tried dealing anything with the car configuration on your P2 CEM using your PIN?
