whether or not there’s a key in the car.

Shoot a little WD into the ignition cylinder,
then insert and remove the key a few times.

You may just be experiencing a symptom of low voltage. I think that you have several different issues. The heated seats are on their own circuits and not a part of the mirror heaters at all. Pretty sure that the ABM’s use stock glass. The later model P80 C70’s, 2003 & 2004 with Jewel headlights used clear glass with no flutes.
