Following up on this thread: (1998 V70R) I had my secondary air pump, SAS valve, and lines checked this morning. No problems. The tech drilled a small hole in the air pump to drain any water that might have been trapped inside -- nothing. Turns out that a dying alternator is to blame for not chargin...

I did notice that the ashtray's light in the front doesn't seem to shut off... I just finished checking my heater core to see if it was leaking, and noticed the ashtray light on... I will check other light sources too. Thanks.

You know, I think that sounds right, considering that I have had poor gas mileage, and I had an emission fault code indicated on the OBDII after the check engine light came on.
