I head very similiar problem in the begining, as the OP stated, I learnd to a sequence to close the car, and then its surefire it will not drain the battery. In my case the passenger door sometimes stick open, even the DIM give me message about its with red triangle, "pessenger door open" ...

That would be great if somebudy could shed some light on this as I could savce some time and money.
So the ultimate question is: Is the new type volvobranded (no MM label) with hall efect sensor ETMs are plug and play across the board or not?
